ACT OF FAITH
O my God, I firmly believe all the truths that the holy Catholic Church believes and teaches; I believe these truths, O Lord, because you, the infallible truth, has revealed them to Her. In this faith I am resolved to live and die. Amen.
ACT OF HOPE
O my God, relying on your promises, I hope that through the infinite merits of Jesus Christ you will grant me pardon of my sins and the graces necessary to serve you in this life and to obtain eternal happiness in the next. Amen
ACT OF CHARITY
O my God, I love you with my whole heart and above all things because you art infinitely good and perfect; and I love my neighbor as myself for love of you. Grant that I may love you more and more in this life and in the next for all eternity. Amen.
ACT OF CONTRITION
O My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you, and I detest all my sins because of your just punishment . . . but most of all, because they have offended you, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of your grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.
TO GUARDIAN ANGEL
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's Love entrusts me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.

QUEEN OF ANGELS
August Queen of heaven! Sovereign Mistress of the angels, you who from the begging have received from God the power and mission to crush the head of Satan; we humbly beseech you to send the holy legions . . . that, under your command and by your power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks, and drive them hence into the abyss of everlasting woe. Amen.
BEFORE MEALS
Bless us, O Lord, and these your gifts, which we are about to receive, from your bounty, through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
THE ANGELUS
V: The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R: And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
(Hail Mary . . .)
V: Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R: Be it done unto me according to your word.
(Hail Mary . . .)
V: And the Word was made Flesh.
R: And dwelt among us.
(Hail Mary . . .)
V: Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, thy grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the incarnation of Christ, your Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by his passion and cross, be brought to the glory of his resurrection, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Amen.
THE OUR FATHER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
HAIL MARY
Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
GLORY BE TO THE FATHER
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
THE APOSTLE'S CREED
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen
MORNING PRAYER
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I begin this day. I thank you, Lord, for having preserved me during the night. I will do my best to make all I do today pleasing to you and in accordance with your will. My dear mother Mary, watch over me this day. My Guardian Angel, take care of me. St. Joseph and all you saints of God, pray for me . . . (followed by Daily Offering)
DAILY OFFERING
O Jesus, through the immaculate heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of your sacred heart: the salvation of souls, reparation for sin, the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our bishops and of all the apostles of prayer, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.
THE DIVINE PRAISES
Blessed be God. Blessed be his holy name. Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man. Blessed be the name of Jesus. Blessed be his most Sacred Heart. Blessed be Jesus in the most holy sacrament of the altar. Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most holy. Blessed be her holy and Immaculate Conception. Blessed be her glorious Assumption. Blessed be the name of Mary, Virgin and Mother. Blessed be St. Joseph, her most chaste spouse. Blessed be God in his angels and in his saints. Amen.
PRAYER FOR EMPLOYMENT
God, our Father, I turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment. I need your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path, and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. I wish to use the gifts and talents you have given me, and I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant me this favor I seek, so that I may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance. Grant this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
ANIMA CHRISTI
Soul of Christ, make me holy. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, fill me with love. Water from Christ's side, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. Good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me. Never let me be parted from you. From the evil enemy, protect me. At the hour of my death, call me and tell me to come to you, that with your saints I may praise you through all eternity. Amen.
PRAYER BEFORE A CRUCIFIX
Behold, O good and most sweet Jesus, I fall upon my knees before you, and with most fervent desire beg and beseech you that you would impress upon my heart a lively sense of faith, hope and charity, true repentance for my sins, and a firm resolve to make amends. And with deep affection and grief, I reflect upon your five wounds, having before my eyes that which your prophet David spoke about you, O good Jesus: “They have pierced my hands and feet, they have counted all my bones.” Amen.
MY GOD, I BELIEVE IN YOU
My God, I believe in you, I hope in you, I love you above all things with all my soul, with all my heart and with all my strength. I love you because you art infinitely good and worthy of being loved; and because I love you, I repent with all my heart of having offended you. Have mercy on me, a sinner. Amen.
